Comments: An interactive HDR panorama of the view from the forward gun tub on the SS American Victory. This Victory class cargo ship is 455 feet long and is named after American University in Washington DC ( my dad's alma mater ). Built in 1945, she is one of four active world war two era cargo ships left. This ship is equipped with three inch 50 caliber guns. Now semi-retired, she sails twice a year on a six hour educational cruise. This view overlooks the Cruise ship terminal, the Aquarium, and the Channelside District.
Technical: Canon S95 - 180 images (60 bracketed shot). Manual mode - manual focus set at infinity - ISO 80 - aperture set to f8.0 (for best depth of field) - shutter speed set on auto - HDR mode.
